Comprehensive Toilet Replacement and Repair Services
Our team in Detroit has experience installing a brand-new toilet or repairing issues on your current one. Toilets get used daily. It’s understandable they might encounter some problems from time to time.
One common problem is that your toilet has a weak or strong flush. Both of these types of flushes mean that your toilet isn’t working properly.
Another issue is that your toilet might take too long to fill its tank. No matter what your issue is, we’ll work fast to fix the problem.
Other common toilet repairs we handle in Detroit homes:
- Running toilet: a worn flapper or fill valve, which can waste hundreds of gallons of water a day
- Leaking at the base: a failed wax ring or a corroded flange, common in older Detroit bathrooms
- Frequent clogs: a problem with the toilet itself, or with the drain line below it
- Cracked tank or bowl: usually means it is time for a new, water-saving toilet

Toilet Repair FAQ
Why does my toilet keep running?
Almost always, it’s the flapper or the fill valve. A flapper that has warped or hardened lets water leak from the tank into the bowl, so the tank keeps refilling. A fill valve that doesn’t shut off sends water down the overflow tube. Both are inexpensive parts and usually a quick repair.
Is a leak around the base of the toilet an emergency?
Not usually, but don’t ignore it. Water seeping from under a toilet is often a failed wax ring, and every flush pushes a little more into the floor. In a two-story Detroit home, that can stain or damage the ceiling below. Stop using that toilet if you can and have it reset on a new seal.
How long does it take to replace a toilet?
A standard replacement usually takes a couple of hours, including removing the old toilet, checking the flange and floor, and setting and testing the new one. If the flange or subfloor is damaged, we’ll show you and repair it first.
